This is a weird idea that might be stupid, but what the hey, I'll post it anyway...
Suppose you write an erotic story, but style it as a mystery/crime novel. Basically have an investigator trying to figure out who the players were in a specfic sexual encounter.
The easiest way to do this would be to have a pregnant woman and then have the investigator trying to figure out who knocked her up. Essentially, the methodology would be the same as a murder investigation - medical science allows you to backdate to when the event in question occurred, and then all you have to do is figure out who was with the subject at that specific moment.
Of course there are some problems with this idea, such as the fact that DNA could easilly establish paternity, thus making a lengthy investigation pointless. Also, why would anyone besides the woman care who she slept with?
One way of doing this is to have a woman discover that a single mother who works at her husband's company has a young son who bears a striking resemblance to her husband. The wife can't force the other woman to submit he son's DNA for testing, and she can't publicly talk about her suspicions, so she hires a P.I. to trace back who the single mother concieved the child with.
Another way you could do it is to have a woman wake up in a hospital bed with a large belly
after a six month coma, following a car accident. She can't remember the last few months before the crash and her friends and family don't know of any significant men who were in her life at that time. So she hires a P.I. to establish who fathered her baby.
I'm swamped ATM, so this is as far as I go with this idea. Anyone else who wants to explore it is more than welcome to.
