My aunt suffers from some very odd mystery disease. She has problems with weakness, vomiting anything she's eaten, muscle spasms, hot and cold flashes, open sores breaking out, insomnia, and all kinds of sinus trouble. She gets better sometimes, but then she will lapse back into it. She's been to a dozen doctors, and none of them knew what was wrong. I live with here and see her everyday, I know she isn't just faking. Has anyone else out there ever had to deal with something like this?

I saw just about the same with my mother.

The first time she had urinary track infection after a month of iv's of antibotics and fluids she could not keep anything down she lost 100lbs and got so weak she could not walk and all it was 4 kidney stones that were blocking and got stuck.

The second time she had liver and kidney failure they did everything they could do to get her better but she died any ways.

I hope your mother gets better and i hope this helps.

Sorry i said your mother.

I hope your aunt gets better.

I know that my mother died cancer free.

But tey really do not know why her liver and kidneys failed.

I don't know what to suggest, but I hope that the Lit. doctors around here can post some input.

Seeing her daily must be upsetting for you. I pray that she gets better and stay strong.:rose:

She's been better recently, but it tends to come and go. She actually managed to go back to work today, which is good, and she made it through the whole day this time.

Sillyman, I know it's terrible to watch someone getting sicker and sicker and not having a doctor be able to help. Have you tried any of the medical sites out there? I know it'll take some heavy research on your part, but they may be helpful.

My grandmother had lupus for several years before it was diagnosed, and WebMD was helpful for me. I hope your aunt finds someone to help her hon. *hugs*

That is very encouraging. Glad to hear it. Hope it continues.

Anyway, finally I'm feeling sleepy, which usually happens when I need to be up at 9 or so. Take care. Nitey-night.
