I like it a lot for just casual blogging and chit chatting.

What does one do there? As opposed to, for instance, here.

kromen said:I've been using it for a month now and hooked up with a couple of local groups for chit-chat and goings (ons?). My problem is the slow down time, crappy loading of ridiculous webpages, multiple phishermen, and the ppl that can't take a hint that you don't wanna date them. It must be sweeps week too, because the local news is running a story about internet predators preying on the scantily clad underage teens and a recent murder of girl who met her myspace friend in person. (shudders). It's getting easier to screen through ppl you would like to talk to and great for networking.
sweetnpetite said:Yeah, I have some of the same problems with myspace. And I've been noticing they've been getting a lot of bad press lately, but I've found it to be really great for me in terms of finding people I used to know and getting to know local people as well.
I hope that it stays free, now that somebody else bought it.
And I wish the media would leave it alone. Why are they singling out myspace anyway? it's no different than anywere else on the internet. geez!
