My work didn't seem to save some reason

Hello i am first time trying to write a story, some reason when i clicked save story button at right lower corner after writing the text...come window that it might not have been saved. So i am either missing something or did something wrong when created my draft.

Might anyone has suggestions what i could try ? almost two hours work went out of the window sadly. But luckily i do have a rough draft still saved my hardrive. I apoligaze if my writing has miss spellings i am not native english speaker so i might write some words still a bit wrong

I usually do all my drafts and editing in Word, then copy and paste the text into the "New Story" field when it is finished. That block on your author page really isn't set up to be a good place for writing your story. Also, your story might not have saved if you hadn't filled out all the mandatory blocks for the story, like the description, tags, category, and language.
