The plane ride had been easier than I first thought. It’s normal to be a little apprehensive when it comes to being that high up but I was surprisingly comfortable once they took off. My stress level over the last few weeks had been at a record high as far as I was concerned. Sometime away from my crazy family and work, was exactly what I needed. When I started planning this trip it seemed prudent to let David know I was coming. He didn’t take me seriously at first but that was reasonable. We had met on Literotica and that kind of talk was common among members.
Working double time had afforded me a good flight. Once I had my ticket, he had to take me seriously. We were both excited about this but were still holding our breaths on whether or not it would go off without a hitch. I had kept to myself that I was meeting someone in Sydney because I knew the reaction it would get, especially from my traditionalist family.
Country people just didn’t get the concept of the internet and it had been hard to tell them that I was looking online when it came to guy hunting. It was a little frustrating weeding through the rejects on that site or the ones who could give a shit that I had a brain or even knew how to treat a woman right. David’s cute smile and sense of humor was what attracted
Despite misgivings my father had seen me off when I got on the plane. “Be sure he’s worth all this.” He had told me, leaving me almost speechless because I hadn’t told him a thing about David. Somehow Daddy always knew when there was more going on than I would let on. I just smiled and nodded, giving him a hug and a kiss before a boarded. “I will, Daddy.”
Once they announced that the plane was about to land in Sydney, Australia, I watched as it came into view. Going through the usual stuff, I retrieved my luggage and headed towards the exit to catch a cab to the hotel where I was planning on staying. On a whim I took out my laptop computer and typed up a message:

“Just arrived in Sydney. Hope we can finally meet face to face. Love, Siren”
I included my hotel information so he could find me to get in contact. The cabbie was more than helpful when I flagged him down. It must have been very obvious that I was a tourist because I hadn’t said a word and he was schooling me on the areas to see. As we rode off to the hotel, he laughed at my accent (Ironic, huh?). David’s dimpled smile was heavily on my mind as we drove into the driveway of the hotel.
