Anyone that is surprised by what's happening is very short on historical knowledge. Actually I'm surprised that it's taken as long as it has for the ultra right wing whacko's to respond to the ultra left wing whacko's.

Did anyone really think that the antic's of the BLM folks, the looting, shooting, arson, vandalism, was going to continue without a counter-group arising?

Obama's administration allowed the BLM folks a fairly free rein, will Trump bring the full weight of the Justice dept. down on the counter groups head? I hope so, just as I hope he does with the BLM whacko's.

From my perspective, a pox on both their houses. Round them up, take them to an isolated area, arm them to the teeth and tell them, "OK folks, only one of you are coming out of this alive. Try to escape and we'll shoot you, other than that it's kill or be killed"

All of this is as a result of NOT enforcing the law as written equally regardless of the sex, race, creed, or culture of the offender. "Justice" is traditionally portrayed with a blindfold. And I'm fully aware that at times she was allowed to 'peek' out of her left(right) eye, but that is NO reason to compensate by allowing her to 'peek' out of her right(left) eye.

Trump has an opportunity here to pull the blindfold tight and balance the scales. Let's see if he does.

His response, at least verbally, is almost verbatim the response Obama gave re. the Ferguson debacle. I'm waiting to see what the DOJ response is. Oh mother of my unborn child, the government is like a train at full speed on a main line, expecting it to switch tracks in a matter of hours is unrealistic. This is going to be a process, not a 'knee jerk' reaction.

If he doesn't call for the full weight of the DOJ to come down on these clowns, then I'll be right there among you calling for him to do so. But at the same time I want to see that weight come down on the other side as well.

When the application of the law wafts to and fro with the ever changing winds of politics then there is no law and there is no justice. At that point in time we become just another 'Banana Republic' with violent revolution every generation or so.
