Well, I did it. I finally got my nipple pierced. The pain was minimal, but it did hurt. I love it!!! It looks so cool. Can't wait til it heals enough to play with.

The pain goes away after 3-4 days, then it is really rather nice. I got both mine done two months ago for hubby's homecoming. I love them, and nipples are always hard now. Just hope the novelty doesn't wear off.

Countess, I hope that the sensation doesn't go away. I did my right one because it didn't really have a lot of sensation or erection to begin with. I was totally surprised that it was standing proud when she was cleaning and marking it. I just now cleaned it and it was so awsome!! Just touching the tip of my nipple sent shivers down to my knees. I sure hope that doesn't go away. It's still a little sore. I dropped something on the floor earlier and bent over to pick it up (I was sitting), sure got my attention when I smashed my boob into my leg! I say do it. I'm not sure if I'll do my left one or not. I didn't want both of them out of commission at the same time, so I only did the right one.

Tony, I'm sure that they can be done incorrectly. Things like placed too deeply or not deep enough. It could also just be natural changes in your friend's body.

I have a ladyfriend who is also a Orthopedic Surgeon, she says that the damaged nerves will regenerate at a rate of about 1cm/month. (She has her nipples done too.) and If you let them heal properly, the nerve will grow around the steel, making the nipple more sensitive. Vitamin B6 will help the nerves as well.

Vixen, you're lucky having that kind of sensitivity. I may as well have played with my leg for as much pleasure as I got from my right nipple.
It's been five days now and the soreness is mostly gone. It's still VERY sensitive though. If it stays like this, I'll be VERY pleased with the results.
