Alright, I just had to share this with y'all!

This morning, my s/o took our 9 yo son to school. On the way to school, he told his dad that he forgot to take something for his morning snack. Dad stopped at the gas station and sent the boy in with $2 to get something for a snack. He goes in and comes back out with a Super Slim Jim and a thing of Bubble Tape. Dad asks him how much it was, knowing that the 2 items cost more than $2. Our son told him that the total was $2.30. And he stated, very matter of factly, "You know Dad, if you're nice to older women, they'll buy you stuff."

I guess you're right it IS a little funny, but in a troublesome sort of way...how many times has he done this, I wonder...

When you really need to start to worry is when he hits puberty. Like that thing with the 24yo teacher in florida.

Yeah, I know...Kinda makes me proud, though...He is my oldest and I admit, I've sheltered the boy. He is rather naive and doesn't have much in the way of "street smarts". This kinda makes me feel better, in the fact that he's not as much of a mama's boy as I thought.

I heard that they start young nowadays...I wasn't aware it to be that young *g*

Oh, my... Smart little guy, isn't he? You have to admire him, or at least, those of here who are men do. :D

But I have to wonder: Just where did he learn this kind of behavior??

Hmmmmm??? :D :D :D

I keep rereading this. And I keep laughing more each time. This really is some funny shit...!!

I have to tell you, if my son said something like that, after already having proven the truth of the fact, I'd be walking around going, "Yep! ~Proud Sigh~ That's my boy! Regular chip off the old block, ain't he??" :D
