Jessica is pretty popular to most people in her school Tightens Hights but she didn't care about that. She played the school life through the easier route, and during the school day she almost had to do close to nothing other than which she chose to do, as of art or anything related.

There was a boy of the name Matt she knew she had a few classes she decided to go to or whatever, he'd be there and she noticed that he would either get flustered,or blush alot when she'd be around.

She thought he was pretty cute and she decided she'd probably get to know him.

Today was Valentines Day and she'd opened her locker that morning to a very beautiful hand made card with lots of effort put into it and a love note inside. That made her smile,and make her morning good so far.

Now she was heading to a class she'd sit in for a while she knew Matt would be in there, but she didn't know of who sent her the card or what would happen today at all.

Matt ambled through the halls of the school, the ticking nerves in the back of his mind refusing to settle themselves. Of course, spending several years of unrequited love was different from making a love note and putting it in the locker of your love...that tended to work on the nerves, especially if you didn't sign your name to it.

He didn't let anything show on his face, but he'd 'cared about' Jessica for a long time, but you can only care about someone for a long time before you fell in love with them.

He stared down the hall and spotted Jessica's long following crimson hair at the end of the hall. He hitched a smile on his face and started to make a bee line towards her.

"Hey Jessica, how ya doin'?" He said, much the same way he had for years.

Jessie almost jumped out of her socks hearing his voice as she turned around and laughed a little

"You scared the crap out of me Matt!"

She playfully gave him a soft punch on the shoulder and started walking next to him not letting any feelings or expressions seep out onto her face. She looked over at him

"Just heading to um..oh that's right! P.E. i think we're swimming with partners today.."

She shrugs stopping at her locker and standing on her tiptoes trying to reach for her bag.

"Oh, come on now, I'm not that stealthy." He said with a chuckle as she jumped. She always had been more than a little oblivious to him. He shurugged at the thought.

"Well, swimming's always fun, but I guess you've always wanted to ogle the guys running around in swimsuits." Matt said with a sly little grin, and reached up and pulled her bag off the top shelf and handed it too her.

"But how's your day been before I scared you out of your hair?"

She grinned at him and put her bag over her shoulder closing her locker and leaning against it for the time being.

"Hmm let me think about that one, my day has been pretty great, i got a secret admirer"

She smiled and stood back up and linked her arm through his. The closeness felt amazing but she'd never tell him that.She walked alongside him to the gym.

"Secret admirer eh? Lucky guy...or perhaps lucky person. I've heard tha a couple of girls think you're pretty hot." He said, not willing to admit to writing it just yet. He grinned inwardly as she snaked her arm through his as they walked along.

"So did it fill you with lust and desire for the writer or just give you a bit of a snicker?"

She smiles and looks over at his next question and thinks for a moment"Neither. I wasn't full of lust and desire or laughing about it. I was happy,flattered,and yes a bit of desire and longing to know who can be so creative and sweet."

"Well that's good to know, but you've probably disapointed a lot of girls...and probably a lot of guys as well..." He said with a sly smile and bumped his hip into her as they walked along.

Matt hadn't realized that his face had gone pale, but when Jessica's lips touched his cheeks he could feel the warmth of his blush spreading. She may have done that before but oy, somethings you just never get used to, no matter how long you knew someone. He smiled a little looking down at her, it would be nice to tell her just how he felt.

"Jessica...happy Valentine's day." He said, and dipped his head down to kiss her on the top of the head. Nothing romantic about it, but he had to do something.

"I'm glad you liked my card." He said in a rush.

She smiles at his face returning to his normal rosiness as he bends down to kiss her head she breathed in the scent and then her eyes popped open when she heard the last of his words and looked up at him.

"Matt! That's your card??"She grinned"I don't like it."She laughed for a moment seeing his eyebrows pulling together as she leant forward pressing against him"I love it silly."

Matt smiled with more than a little relief as Jessica leaned in close to him. He relaxed as he felt her body pressing against him. Then began to feel a little more nervous at just what her body was doing to him. But he was content to enjoy it.

"Thanks Jessica. I had kinda hoped...but, I do...well..." He said, again feeling his nerves tweaking up. She might have liked the card, but that didn't mean that she exaclty felt the same way about him.

Matt felt a wave of relief when Jessica kissed him. He hadn't realized just how tense he'd been waiting for her response, and didn't want to say just how relieved he'd been that she did care about him.

"So what now Jessica? I mean...I sent the card, I am kinda lost at this point..." He said plafully a wiry grin crossing his face. He had an idea or two...
