Hi I'm new here so this may have been asked before but I couldn't find it!

I uploaded a pic to my author profile but it doesn't appear when I access my page. Why is this?

The pictures on the main site author's profile require a manual intervention by the site administrators before they post -- similar to the approval process for the stories.

It should show up in about 24-48 hours. If it doesn't, PM Laurel (with a link to your profile to save her some search time).

There is also a size limit for those images, but I don't recall what it is off-hand, but unlike the forum software, overlarge images will still upload but just won't be enabled. (I think the limit is 320x320 pixels, but don't quote me.)
