In February I bought "Electronic for Beginners - Starter Kit", and in previous picture, there is a circuit with about 8 elements (one microchip with 12 legs ) and with two 2-wired wires with termal control elements on one end - they detect temperature and coolers rolling faster. When is cold, coolers runs slower and it is much silent .

In pic below You can see a commmercial moded cooler that shines in my comp - it is not necessery but always up my mood when I looked at this

then let me give You a small lecture about computer assembly /it is almost the same pleasure to build computer from parts to complete by own hand as pleasing a woman by hands/

then on mainboard - a plate of electronic circuits there is a place (called socket) with about 370 or 472 or 939 small holes - that small white something in middle at rigth side.

processor - back side - many legs to playing with

in socket You should put a chip /called processor/ legs to the holes - the same as in life, like plug to the wall socket, orange to mixer for receiving juice - who put once one time in your life something to something they know what matter

And there is time for coolers, that proccesor then PC in on, eat current and emites heat, but only by that square in middle, there can be 35°C to 90°C /90°C means death to the chip/.
Then me must use something to keep them with casual home temperatue.

At beginnings almost for 1996 the best and easy way was heatsink

but when streng of chips rising to the 150 Mhz and todays 3000 Mhz=3Ghz and more, it's to low termal exchange and fan is necessery

for better air circling inside the PC case, there can be more fans, one is at top end of case in power supply unit (PSU), and the next one can be mounted on front side at bottom inside case.

- becouse chassis usually looks boring, then peoples make a big window in a case wall, installing a plastic glass and put something inside what shines.

last time in monopoly shop i saw something blue, red, yellow or green - it's called cooler too - kind of drink
