I can't seem to get my pics up here so I have put them up at http://communities.msn.com/KashasPics I am a makeup artist and have started a new business... I would love any feedback on the photos.. they aren't x-rated... good though..

Thanks so much, I know they are kinda a pain in the ass to get to but I think they are worth it.. I did try to get a lot of different looks... my husband says I have bedroom eyes and you can see everything in my face... So, yeah I guess the chameleon is a good observation....

I am wondering what kinda ideas you got though..lol

I would love any feedback on the photos..

All that I waited for to load were very nice. (My server is very slow today, so I didn't wait for all of them.)

I do have a question/comment. A couple of the pictures seem to be squashed or distorted by resizing, making your face seem very thin in one picture, and broader in others. Is that intentional, or just a failing of the program you used to resize them?

Well, I had to resize them in that particular page individually. Ya know how the handle bars come up and you can resize... I guess I may have not done them all the same so that's what makes the difference. I guess i should have put half on one page and the other half on a nother page for quicker loading. "Free resizing" with drag boxes at the corners is very prone to distorting pictures. You have to have a very good eye to avoid it.

If you can establish a "standard" size for the pictures you post on the web, and resize before posting with "constrain proportions" enabled (it may be called something else in your photo program) it makes it a simple matter of dragging them into position on the web page.

The loading time was more a function of my poor connection that day than the number of pictures. It actually takes less time to load one page with a dozen pictures than it does to load a dozen pages with one picture each.

There is, of course, some middle ground between loading a dozen pictures at once, and creating a dozen separate pages. I generally find that loading a page with three or four pictures isn't too boring a wait, and one with six pictures is not excessive. I think someone did a study and found that if people have to wait more than 20 seconds for a page to load, they tend back out of it. If I'm sure that something is actually loading, I personally am willing to wait up to a minute for a decent picture to load.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of ya'll that have looked at the pics ... I have gotten some really nice feedback. The business will be starting up soon, but I have to get pics done with a new camera..grrrrrrr. The one that the pics were taken on won't print pics with good resolution over a 4x6, so we have to buy a new camera.. damn thing is 2000, so I will have even more pics to post..lol...

Hi, thank you all so much again for the wonderful comments. I will be posting new pics this week. I will be off taking a million shots tommorow evening... so we'll see if the new camera is better or what..

I really do appreciate all the feedback. It has done wonders for my self esteem, especially now as I am having family difficulties it is really so nice to hear such great things from people. I know it is a bit shallow...but any self esteem boost I can get right now helps..believe me.

thanks again. It always makes me feel so nice when I log on and ya'll leave me such nice messages. I was supposed to go do more pics tonight but I was tired and just not "feelin it" so I decided to stay home and play online. I am still trying to figure out how I can spruce up my sight so it is easier to load... it is quite graphics heavy so unless you have a DSL line it sometimes takes a little bit to load. I am in the process of combining both the sites that I have.. I like the homestead one a lot more than the MSN one so I will be transferring everything over there.

I will be making new dolls soon to.. Hopefully a little more X-rated than what we have seen so far...
