Well this sucked.
Yesterday my phone worked just fine during work. When I got home however the touchscreen no longer reacted. (As I found out when I tried to turn on the alarms.)
This morning I took the phone down to the dealer and they had no idea what was wrong with it. Naturaly it was just beyond the one year warranty period. (Grumble grumble.) Also of course they no longer carry that phone. (LG Xenon)
I'm not allowed an upgrade until January.
Now I need a damned phone that has the same types of applications and access of my old phone. I'm not rich by any means but I need the applications because of work.
Well I found another LG Smartphone within my price range. It's an unlocked phone used for the pay as you go systems. I popped the card from my old phone into the new one and we're off to the races for now. We'll see how this phone works and if I don't like it then I'll replace it with a good one in January.
