Wow... Very nice! I love the subject matter, the style and the interesting twists on the Star Wars theme :)

Thankyou, EHawkins! I don't think we've met. Welcome! :rose:

Thanks, hon :rose:

Please, call me E or Edda :D

I'm usually on the writing side of things here at Lit--I hang out at Abstrusions a lot at AH. Occasionally I wander over to visual arts just to peek and your work really caught my eye :) Plus, I love Star Wars--I'm such a geek :D

My writing is often inspired by art, (and music), so maybe something will come from looking at yours ;) It was quite a treat to see something like this so well done.

What originally inspired you to do this story board?

Wow! I read your profile, Edda! 0_0

What a cool lady! Archery??

I love books, cats, music, art, and writing also! :cathappy:

You have 2 kitties? Pics?

I was obsessed with Star Wars way back in 1983! I was very depressed after I saw The 3rd in the first trilogy (Return Of The Jedi). Everything was dragged up from my childhood at once...I began to draw to hold my depression at bay. It worked, but I was drawing ferociously ...I was sleeping only 3-5 hrs a day! The rest was spent drawing, stopping only to care for my son, and sleep. I love horses, and I'd been looking thru my copy of The Art Of Star Wars book, and came across storyboards. w00t! I had so much fun with these. ^_^

And many thanks for your kind words! :rose:

Thanks :D

I've always loved archery. This past year, I took lessons with my nephew and I really enjoyed it. I'm hoping to go back again this year when he goes again.

I have 2 kitties: Morgren and Schmee :cathappy: Morgren is about 15 now. I've had him since middle school and he's still a fiesty 'lil guy! And Schmee's my writing companion--she hangs out with me while I write :) I don't have pics of them right now but, I'll probably do some for the holidays :D

I'm glad that your art was there for you during your depression. Art as therapy can be a wonderful way to work through those ugly times. The energy that I see in those storyboards definately reflects the ferocity that you drew with!

Since I particularly liked the ones with Darth Vader on horseback, I was thinking about it this morning, and I started having ideas about a dark knight roaming some godforsaken wasteland with possible post-apocolytic tones:D

You're welcome for the kind words--the storyboards were really fantastic!
I'll definately keep an eye out for more of your work :)

Hahaha! Schmee! Where did that delightful name come from? I have 6 kitties... I'll show you a couple here, but I'd also like to see yours eventually. I look forward to it! ^_^

Haha! I love your idea! (Dark Knight on horseback)! That's what I felt about him too. Vader was my hero back then. 0_0 Underneath all of that sadness lurked a lot of anger.

There's a lot of my work already posted if you wanna see more...it's been some time since they've been bumped...perhaps, to make it easier for you, I'll bump them here myself. :D

And thanx again about these pieces. It does a body good to get feedback like yours, E! ^_^

Schmee's official name is "Laksmi" after an Indian goddess, I believe, but my husband and I shortened her name and it evolved to Schmee for short. She answers to any variant thereof: Schmeeble, Schmeeling, Schmeebs... :D Shadow looks exactly like Schmee! They could be twins!

I'm glad you liked the Dark Knight idea--I'll have to tackle that one after I finish with one of my long-term projects :)

I will definately take a look at your other works--thanks for bumping them:)

Take care, and again, you're welcome :rose:
It was a pleasure to meet you :)
