Story Time:

[Full stories should not be posted to the forum. They should be submitted and go through the usual screening process. - AH Mod]

Make sure you have a copy of this, as it will get taken down by the Mod.

The intent of the forums is for writers to seek comment on work already submitted to the site editor (use the Feedback Forum when seeking feedback - start a new thread with link to your published story), or, in the case of Authors Hangout, to generally shoot the breeze about writerly stuff.

But not to post story content - you need to do that using the submission process - minimum submission 750 words.

Immediate comment, based on the content that will disappear - break up your 'wall of text' into much smaller paragraphs, and correctly observe line/para breaks in your dialogue.

What he said. Submit it as a story to be posted via the Literotica submission process. If you go to Literotica's front page there's a highlighted link to submissions. Click on it and you'll find lots of instructions that are, on the whole, easy to follow. When I first started I managed. Just. Lol. If you get stuck come back here and ask for help. People here are good like that.

And welcome to the Authors Hangout. You have strayed into that part of Literotica where some of us that write here hang out and chat so you are one of the fortunate few. I was writing for months on Literotica before I knew this forum existed. So browse, chat, ask questions. Drop to say hi. You'll be welcome. You may even get some comments on your writing.

That said, try and make it more of a story. Less narrative, more dialog. Try and show us what's going on. The usual show don't tell critique. Read some short stories you like and try and capture the style. It's a learning process and you have a good start coz you have a story. That already puts you in the top 10% of wannabe authors. You've written something. Now improve it.

And welcome to another aspiring author!

And once the story goes through the usual approval and gets posted to the story part of the site, it's permitted and encouraged to post a link to it here. A lot of us don't hit up the "New Stories" section all that often, but we're more likely to see it if you post the link.
