Not even 2 weeks ago I had to take my 2 year old ferret to the vet to be put to sleep...he was bitten by a black widow spider :(

Well today I found his cagemate laying on the bottom floor, having the exact same symptoms...slow breathing (a breath every 20-30 seconds), not moving even when I touched him...so I prepared myself for him to pass away, even found a box to bury him in :(

I opened his cage and gently picked him up, placing him on my shoulder and petting him...being sure he knew how much I loved him (of course I was crying the whole time)...when out of the blue he perked up and shook his whole body, then it hit me...HE IS A REALLY DEEP SLEEPER...THE LITTLE STINKER!!!!

I giggled about it after the shock of the thought of losing my other baby wore off :D

And if I remember correctly, you took the time out to yell at me for laughing too. :p
