A pic of my newest tatt for those of you who like body art. Hope you all like this one. I do.:D

It's very nice, Wicked Clown. Colorful!

Can you get a better focused picture? It's hard to see the detail in that one.

Why Yes

I guess I should have warned it was slightly blurred. I promise to post a clearer one as soon as I get it.:D Take care. Later.

Nice work...

How old is it? I love the colours. I'm in the middle of a big block of restorative work on some of my older tattoos, and am a big fan of bright colours. I'm going to try to post a couple of pics by the end of next week when my right arm should be nearly finished.

How many others have you got, and what are they?

I really really really don't like clowns... so your tat is kinda creepy to me. But the design is very cool, and the colors are amazing.

Kiwi, you mentioned getting touch ups done... my tat had a lot of small areas of white and yellow in it. They've faded almost completely while the reds and blacks are still really vibrant (after 10 years)... is it a technique issue? Or is any white or yellow going to fade? Is it worth retouching?

sweeeeet.....

Your wicked clown tat is "wicked-hellucool"! I'm getting some ink done also. Guess I'll have to throw it up when it's finished.

Thank you everyone for your gracious comments. The tatt is very new. It has only been healed a couple of weeks now. I have 3 total. I will post 1 of the others here. It is another clown. The new clown is actually underneath this one. And I also have the theatrical faces with laugh now/cry later written under them. The faces were my first and they were home done so they are not much to look at. Thanks again everyone. And Moridin 187.... same 2 u ninja. Anyone else have some tatt pics they wanna post then please do. I am a big fan of body art. Later.

The touchup work I am having done is on tattoos I had done in 1983 in Singapore. Back then lines were thicker, and the inks available were nowhere near the quality of the inks available today. The way your whites and yellows present themselves has a lot to do with your skin colouring as well as the ink.

If the work in question means anything to you, then yes it is worth retouching. But I would suggest that you get the whole tattoo redone as the untouched areas will end up looking faded in comparison. It is also a good opportunity to have your lines redone. It tends to sharpen the whole tattoo and looks fantastic. I'll try to post those pics by the end of the week to give you a before and after comparison. Tell us a bit more about the tatt in question... subject, size, etc.

I love fresh ink... :D
