My new threads

It seems I have plenty of people willing to read my threads (as noted by the number of views) but no one who wishes to participate. Why is that? Are my ideas not interesting? Am I scaring off newbies?

For me, there are two reasons why I seldom join:

They are party threads that have an invited cast, and I will not go where I am not wanted.

The story is allready will developed when I see it, and I feel that the insertion of a new character would be disruptive.

I do not have the time to look at the first page every day, sometimes only once a week, so it is easy for me to miss the start up. Most days I just use the email notification to respond to the threads that I allready particapate in.

Hi intriguess - I have posted onto one of your threads, and since I am fairly new to this, is the proper etiquette to stay on one thread or participate in others at the same time? I may contribute to some of your others as well.

usually it's best to not hog threads with a single person, Merelan and I have developed a good roleplaying relationship so I welcome her to play with in any way she can....*hint hint hint* (eg the unlimited pleasure thread)

bbritt, i sort of geared most of stories that way but eventually my chameleon character will wake up male, and I'm sure the widow would have fun being seduced by charming young woman as well, as for the male surrogate thread (haven't checked it yet) might be interesting if she commeserates about lack fo sex with female friend and things go from there.

Compliment

Intriguess, I wanna start by saying that I am writing this as the best compliment I can try to muster (I am good at sarcasm and bad at compliments). We have been in some threads which died out for whatever reason but I enjoyed them (not sure they were 'yours' though).

There are a couple writers out here, Kepic for instance (hope he doesn't mind), who are just super creative. You are one of them, but a lot of ya'll threads are fantasy worlds or maybe sci fi stuff. I love to read along, but for whatever reason I just can't quite get up a character to bring into them. I am a dumbo stuck on kind of one character, and she is a total down to earth slutty bitch (why does that sound like someone I know?). So that is mostly why I haven't joined in?

I have added to some of your threads, but i try not to get involved in to many because i don't have the time to do them justice. Your a gifted writer and it's always a pleasure to find you are posting to the same stories i am. I am reasonaby new to Lit, but i have really enjoyed every moment. I added to your toys thread, that one could be very...ummmmm.....interesting. heheheh

I'm like some of the other posters. I enjoy your stories but sometimes feel threatened by the original cast you start with. You've got some friends who have been around a while. And I don't want to join a thread I can't keep up with.

I did join your March Madness thread with Moonlight. Didn't get to post to it as much as I had hoped. I will join you in a thead soon, I hope.
