My new pink button

From a practical standpoint, unless one's labia turn some color like green, or grey, I don't see the need, and honestly, I've never heard of such a thing happening anyway. All labia I've seen, from light pink to dark(ish) purple, have looked just fine. Mouth watering, actually.

As a writer, I'd better make sure my characters know about this - I don't want one of my heroines showing up to a sex scene with white or yellow lips. And as an aficianado of other females, I hope they just make sure the stuff TASTES GOOD!

And what's with the "button" part? Labia ain't a button. I KNOW what's a "button."

I believe that the ancient Egyptians, Romans & Greeks all had cosmetics to a lady's intimate parts, including the labia. Putting rouge of the nipples was also common.

A little bottle of red food coloring would probably do the same thing.

A little bottle of red tabasco sauce would probably do the same thing.

I would check to see if the stuff uses FD&C red dye #40, which is used for three purposes – food, drugs and cosmetics. Red dye #40 can cause allergy problems in sensitive people. In fact, red dye #40 is banned in Sweden, Norway, Japan and perhaps elsewhere.

Personally, if I want my woman's lips to look a bit pinker, I'll suck on them for awhile and do it naturally. The range of hues from light to dark are gorgeous to see.

Personally I am pleased with my "pink button" so to speak. I have been in women's issues forums though were numerous women asked if discoloration was normal and feared it looked ugly. They could have at least named it something better though lol
