[rant]Good points: she will be able to identify any robbers or would-be robbers. She thinks I'm normal.

Bad points: not proactive enough. Instead of whinging to me about the guy upstairs allegedly having parties to 3 or 4 in the morning each weekend, do something! Of course I'm pissed - I wasn't invited to the party! She asked me if it woke me up, and I just looked her straight in the eye and said no, but when you yelled out for him to be quiet, you woke me up. I have given her the options if it really is bothering her too much:
1. call the police and get him caught with a bong in hand. On the first ocassion they can give him drug diversion, but after that he'll start having parties at his mates place.
2. complain to his landlord and have them serve a notice to remedy breach. If he keeps it up, complain again and he can be evicted. [/rant]

By "nazi" I assume you don't mean actual brownshirts, swastikas, goose-stepping, sieg heils, etc.

It sounds handy - anytime you have a problem you can get her wound up, and she can do all the work to rectify the situation! It also sounds like she needs a little programming on how to do so effectively, though: "You know, if you just yell it won't do anything because he won't hear you. What you really need to do is show up at his door wielding a Luger . . ."

(My dirty little secret - I've got a streak of that kind of fascism. Sometime I'll tell the story of the day the garage band next door suddenly lost their electricity . . .)

yeah, Liar, just goes to show what strange ideas people can get ;)

Rox, I'm with you. I'm willing to get my hands a little dirty to achieve a good [my] end
