i found that fascinating, and i did not know that with five murders as of may 20 2008 we led the northeastern district which leads the city in murder.

But all the murder stuff is so prosaic and typically American.

Upon moving near Liverpool,UK some 10 years ago, I learned on the radio that the police were seeking a "purse snatcher" whose method of operation was to drive around until he saw an old lady walking across the street at which point he would run her over with his car and then jump out and steal her purse!

Now that, my friend, is what I call "crime", scouser style!
