I finally decided to edit the thing and get it posted. The first chapter has been posted, and the other nine chapters are pending, so they should all be up soon.

I guess it's a good thing that the whole story didn't end up being crap (since it was written in a month's time)... at least, I don't think it's crap, but I could be wrong, lol. I did end up getting rid of several paragraphs during editing. The finished work still ended up being over 50,000 words though.

Anyway, just wanted to share.

NaNoWriMo has scheduled March for "Editing Month" - see their site. Congratulations.

So you are ahead of the game.

I will edit my 12 chapters of submissions in March to try to improve the work I did in November. There are still a few typos and some of it could do with pruning.

Hello mate, I read it and posted a little 'nice one' earlier in the year, you must have missed it. Made good reading over Christmas, nice one. Must get one of those Nissan thingy's with all the gizmo's, or might try plugging myself into the cigar lighter in the Rover and see what happens.

I *think* I will. My novel has got to the point now where I can start the edit. I finally finished it, even though I'm not entirely happy with the ending. It currently stands at 80,000 words! With a few more scenes to be added here and there.

doing the whole NaNo thing. If I start now, I just might have all my chapters in order for when it's time for this. I still don't know just quite what it's about though. I've never edited a full novel before.

Yep, Ice, that's the place. Apparently, the point of it is, to do 50 hours of editing during the month of March.

Ok, I read chapter 1 and was a bit sorry I'd have to wait for the next one. Then I spotted chapters 2 and 3 so I could read on for a while.

And now what? I have to wait again!!! I want the rest of it now.

Chapter four is up (and so is my purple rash challenge story). First time I have had any stories accepted during the middle of the day. It's usually first thing in the morning. At the rate Laurel is going, the other 6 chapters will be up within the next 2-3 days (I submitted all 10 chapters at one time).
