Strange isn't it. My lowest rated at 4.07 is my third lowest viewed from the 750 word challenge.

The same is true for me too - a story called The Upside. It's more vanilla that a lot of my other works - I have D&D stories and noir detectives and space Victorians elsewhere, but it has no such unusual elements. (Content warning, it's also an NC/R story.)

I try not to worry much about what will have mass appeal or get the highest rating and just write what my muse compels. I still do worry, but I try not to.
