I was just going through the papers my fifth grader brought home today and found one written about slavery.
To sum up his solution to slavery, he said he would blow up slave owner's houses and bomb the southern armories. He said if there was still slavery he would be the first in line to kill slave owners.
It is a little extreme but I am happy to see he has learned from me that slavery and oppression are not good things, I just wish he had learned a little diplomacy along with it.
His teacher put a note on the paper "Do you think there is another way to solve the end to slavery rather than to kill the owners?" He said "No".
