My latest addiction is Einstein, a free puzzle game that's available for Windows, Linux and Mac. It's a little bit like sudoku, but with numbers, letters, roman numerals, dice, shapes and signs, instead of just numbers, and the goal is to fill in every spot in each of the six rows with the correct number/letter/symbol based on the hints you're given.

You can learn about and download the 100% free, no registration required, fun that is Einstein here (Linux users may already have it installed or can usually use the Add/Remove Applications feature).

What's your latest addiction? :D

me personally: i'm embarrassed to admit this, but i've been poking around a tad on am pics the past few days.

Shelfari, Goodreads, and LibraryThing. I posted about them in the blurt thread recently, but I'm too lazy to link to that thread or the sites again. You can Google them! :D

Why, I'm shocked, young man! ;)

My latest addiction? Mahjong.

I have a feeling my newest addiction is going to be Einstein. I'll thank you later, Erika.:catroar:

A computer version, or the real thing that many Chinese seniors sit around and play? Some of the biggest gamblers I've known have been Mahjong players. :D Linux has a version that I've played occasionally, but I haven't looked at it in a while.

You're welcome for the link to Einstein, Ed and Cate. Or, I'm sorry. Whichever works. :p

I like Linux better than Winblows in general, but one thing I can really point to is the awesomeness of the games. Ubuntu came with a bunch of them, and there are a ton more just waiting to be installed (and installing is super easy, too!). I'm impressed with the quality, given the fact that they're all free and open source. It's very nice for times when I don't have web access or just need that kind of mental stimulation.
