I think you would be a lot happier, if you would stop stereotyping people.

See what you said up there about the one professor not fitting the mold? Every person is an individual, regardless of their origins. Why not try to judge the individual instead of the race/creed/lifestyle? It will cause you less conflict, if you can change your discrimination against groups of people.

Although you have been on Lit for a year, you haven't always let your inner beauty show through. Sometimes, I think you have thought of other posters here as adversaries. Stay a while longer and share your thoughts in an adult, respectable manner. I, for one, would welcome your participation.

I Like The Indians I Know:

and my experiences with and among them have always been rather satisfactory... I just regret that British rule in India ended prematurely, before a level of understanding could be reached by all parties: The Princely States, The Muslims and The Hindus.

Basically the arrangement advocated by Lord Curzon would have worked nicely for an orderly transition.
