When I got home today from my flight to the midwest, my kids were already in school. I had asked them to write out a list while I was gone and tell me what they wanted for Christmas. First you have to understand that my kids are 13 and 14, you know , the obnoxious teenagers. Although I did find some of what I thought I would on their list, at the top of both of them, they wanted me to take half of what I was going to spend on each of them, pick a teenagers name off an angel tree, ( for those who don't know, they are the orphanse), and let them buy those kids Christmas. Just when I start letting the hustle and bustle of the season get to me with deadlines, sales figures, etc., it's nice to see that for one, I've taught my kids an important lesson, to give to those who may otherwise do without, and lastly, to realize that they're not always into "me". God, they' ve made me proud. Now I'll have to spend even more money and get them what they want, but it'll well be worth it.
