My ring has broken in half twice. Twice. The second time, there was no pulling or tugging of an extreme nature, just some fucking ;-)

I don't get it, the piercer thinks maybe it's the Hitachi....but really? If it was destroying metal, wouldn't my SKIN be a bit affected?

Anyway, it as fun while it lasted.

I think my super-hero power is metal melting pussy. Not a very useful power, really.

are you sure it's not just a substandard ring? maybe try a barbell instead? I have a gold one and I have never once had any problem with it including major hitachi use.

While I know nothing about piercings or rings of that type, when mass produced products have problems, there is usually a batch of them that are bad. So, if your piercer is replacing them, he very well could be replacing bad with bad.

It's not the piercer's fault. If it's a solder point that keeps breaking, that sounds like a defective run of that particular product. It's just something that happens. The vibrations of the Hitachi could be just causing the fault to crack sooner than it normally would. Either try another type of jewelery or another brand name.

Get titanium. BCRs are the most annoying things in the world but they do tend to stay put. If it isnt the jewellery, you could be corrosive. Poison Ivy or something.

I also wonder what gauge you were at??

I have 10g in my hood and geeze it would take a hell of a lot to break that, so I am wondering if you were at a smaller gauge and thus your ring was thiner? Also agree that material might have something to do with it! Titanium would be much stronger!

Awe! rip to your piercing!!
