It was so sweet. A little while ago, sitting here at the computer I could hear my boys playing pokemon. The older one, he will be 11 next week had just defeated his brother's strongest pokemon. I hear him say to his little brother, who is 8, don't you just hate me and I heard this response "No I love you very very much" then "I know I love you too".

Ok mommy's heart melted, this from children who cannot sit next to each other dinner table without fighting and who tattle and complain about about each other enough for 10 children.

Sorry just had to share.

Lol, just don't let them know you heard them or you'll never hear that again!

Kitten Eyes pegged that one squarely on the head,,,

Don't kids just say the darndest things though?

Yes they do! This past spring, my sister-in-law and I took my daughters to the mall and of course, the Easter Bunny was there. The little one wanted her picture taken and whatever the little one does, the oldest does too. When the oldest's turn came, the guy playing the bunny asked her if she wanted the Easter Bunny to bring her some Easter eggs. My daughter yelled over to me, "Hey mom! This guy thinks rabbits lay eggs!"

I almost died laughing.

Juliangel...

That would be heartwarming!! Kids can surprise...but...I agree with KE also...don't let 'em know you heard! LOL!

Juliangel that was a lovely story, thanks for sharing it.

Kitten, you just gotta love those kids.

My son is five in February and he comes out with the cutest things. I can pretty much count on at least ten laughs a day at this point with some of the things he says or does. I'm hanging onto every memory too cause I'm sure he'll be out of this stage before I know it.

I love hearing about all the things our kids do so Juliangel thanks for this thread.

Nope I am not saying a word to them but all is right with the world here, they have hit each other had 2 fights since then. One went next door to play and the other is reading.

A general sense of dislike has settled over them again, in other words all is normal again.

Isn't that just like kids? You put all that time and energy into picking just the right Military Academy to ship them off to, and they have to spoil it by doing something like that.

And people wonder why I only have one and don't intend to have any more :D
