I just got one of those dreaded phone calls.

A friend that I grew up with and his wife were killed in the Rhode Island nightclub fire. I hadn't seen him in about 5 years because he was stationed on the east coast. And I had only met his wife once.

Rest In Peace Danny and Tracey. You will be missed.

I appreciate the thoughts.. I haven't gone to see his mom yet. I just can't bring myself to do it. Not yet. Maybe in the next few days.

I did get a card ready to mail off.. and I'm hoping I can make it to the services. He was there for me when my brother was killed. I'd like to return the favor to his children. Their mother is the one that called me.. they aren't taking it well at all.
