I cannot describe the emotions I am feeling since I have never had them before. I offer my sincere hopes and condolances to all of you.

I am a bit shaken since I am 2 miles from where they boarded their first flight. I could have walked right past them.
I could have driven past them on the road.
They stayed in my city!!!

The only thing stronger than my anger and rage is the pain I feel for those who have fallen and the pride I feel seeing a country and the world come together.

Be strong, America.
I love you all.

I know how you feel, KWT. I was born in Boston. My parents used to fly me up here to Rochester from Logan almost every weekend to visit both sets of Grandparents.

They hijacked planes coming from the city I was born in, and flew them into the state I call home. Every little thing I notice is just too much for me to handle.

It's awful. Portland, Maine (where I live) doesn't make the news often and it is sad to see it there because of this. I can't fathom them in my city, eating at our restaurants, staying in our hotels.

What scares me is that I have taken that same American Airlines flight to California so many times I can't count. Makes me shiver.

I offer my sadness and condolences as well. I feel for the families that have been affected and wish there was more I could do other than just hope and pray.

I keep wishing it was a bad dream and that it would just all go away but I wake up and the reality is a complete horror.
