Don't know how familiar you are with forums in general, but you can do more than mentally ignore. There is a screening feature where posts by members on your "ignore" list will not be shown.

Well, with the images off, you'll only see the ones that show up in people's avatars -- and for this particular member, that's bad enough.

if you turn off the avatars, you're missing out...

(but you can go into your User CP under options and turn them all off, as well as signatures.)

Yep...finally had to break down and use mine a few days ago. Just so many pointlessly vulgar and gratuitously disgusting images I can take without warning at this time of the day (well, most times of the day, but esp now when I'm tired).

With the skin I'm using, you just click on the member name (over the avatar) and there's a drop-down menu. One of the options is "add to ignore list"
