If you're wondering, I ordered some water based lube, a suction cup dildo, a vibrator, toy cleanser, bags for the toys, and the website was offering a free rotating rabbit so I got that too.

There are a lot of adult stores in my area but my luck someone I know will see me go in one and be nosey so I stuck with an online order.

I’m with you on going to the local naughty store…just know too many damn people in this town…here’s what happened the first time I got my nerve up…

Adam&Eve hadn’t arrived in town yet so there were just a couple of XXX stores. Not in the best part of town for sure. I needed a replacement toy for one my wife had, ahum…worn out…so I roll into this place after dark…dark sunglasses on, fedora pulled low, trench coat pulled tightly around…you know, just like in the movies so you wont stand out!

I go in and look at the rather impressive collection they have when I hear my full NAME called out! and rather loudly at that! Turns out an old childhood friend was working there! We had one of those relationships where we’d be close (went off to college together) then drift apart and then our lives would intersect again. Well, we intersected again…at the absolute worst time of me buying a sex toy! Trust me when I say he was the last person I’d want to know I was out buying toys at that time!

Luckily I hadn’t picked anything and played it off like I heard he was working there. Did a quick catch-up, then did a hasty retreat home and bought my first toy online!

We have since matured a tad and A&E finally made it our neck of the woods. We’ve had great experiences and helpful associates to make it less stressful for people of a certain age!
