My First Story

I just sent in my first story on this site. It's a story in the lesbian category. I looked over Boxlicker's stories and the essay he wrote about writing smut and I tried to write like him. I hope you like it.

I saw in another thread that it takes a week before a story gets posted. Is that right?

I haven't been here real long myself, but all of mine have taken a week to two weeks to be posted.

It was at eight days, but it changes depending on how many submissions they're receiving. Congrats on your story, if you PM me when it's out, I promise to RVC. If not, I'll get to it as soon as I can.

I haven't been here real long myself, but all of mine have taken a week to two weeks to be posted.

Nyte Bird is right on target. The number of days depends on the number of new stories being submitted. This is a WAG (wild ass guess) but the Lit braintrust (Laurel and Manu) appear to try and let each story spend at least one day on the front page of the NEW list since that tends to generate a high precentage of views and votes.

Stories being entered in contests (the next one is Halloween) get posted very quickly, sometimes in a matter of hours.

Stories being entered in contests (the next one is Halloween) get posted very quickly, sometimes in a matter of hours.

Given how many people seem to be ready to post theirs on Oct. 1st I wonder if it will still be this quick?

Edit: Read and PCed...Loved the eroticism of it but I found the suspension of disbelief a little hard to deal with...The situation was far too convinient...Sorry if it sounds hurtful but I believe in honesty in reviewing...I'd love to see more of your stuff be sure!
