My first story... Chapters?

Hi all,
I've just had my first story posted and due to my not knowing how to submit, other that copy & paste, it looks like it will be posted in chapters. There should be six of them and I only hope each one can stand alone. Hopfully they will be posted close together since they were submitted at the same time.
Thanks to everyone who has sent feed back. I really appreciate it.

You'd better learn how to submit an entire story. This one wasn't even a chapter; it was an opening scene, and I don't know if anyone's going to have the patience to call up 5 or 6 scenes like this just for one story. Was this even 750 words?

Here's what I do when I post a story: You go to the Literotica home page and sign in, and that takes you to your profile page. You know the drill. If you cut and pasted you must have gotten that far, so you know where the 'submission' page is.

I'm assuming that you have your whole story saved as a single document on your computer. If not, do so. Then on the Literotica submission page, skip the cut & paste box and go down to where it says "browse". Click that, and you should get a pop-up box showing your computer's files. Just find the story and double click on it, and it should upload the whole story as a single document.

I do all my writing and posting out of MSWord and haven't had any trouble. I've never cut & pasted. It looks like way too much work.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try that. What you read was just the opening scene! I just got notified that the rest was rejected for being too short and seeming fragmented. It was fragmented. I wrote in the little box that it was intended to be one story but I'm new at uploading files and it submitted as 6 parts. 6 SHORT parts.

I really think that the whole thing together is really good. Hopefully, you'll see the whole story soon.

Problem solved... I resubmitted the rest of the story by uploading as suggested and this time it has been posted. Chapter 2 is the conclusion instead of being dragged on into six small parts.
