Hello fellow authors. I have yet to contribute any stories to this site but may in the future. Thank you to those that actually contribute your fine work so freely. It seems that getting work copywritten through DC would be a wise way to go before loading work onto the site.

This is some info from an e-mail of mine. I don't plan on entering but thought that others of you might find it intriguing. My dreams of TV and screenwriting have faded for now. Its a tough industry to hack your way into.

Copyright

All work posted on this site is copyright - the copyright belongs to the writer. Literotica own the copyright of this site.

Copying any story from this site is a breach of copyright. If an author finds that a story has been copied from here, a PM to the site's owners will alert them and they will chase the offenders.

In practice, enforcing any copyright of a written work depends on the ability to pay for expensive lawyers.

My stories are copyright and I usually include my own copyright notice:

*************************************************

Copyright Oggbashan October 2004
The author asserts the moral right to be identified as the author of this work.

This is a work of fiction. The events described here are imaginary; the settings and characters are fictitious and are not intended to represent specific places or living persons.

*************************************************

but I don't need to, nor does any author. It is a convention. The laws of copyright cover any creative(!) work.

Hmmmm? where's vella when I need her???

Hello, and please feel free to lead me to any stories that you think I might enjoy. Emotional conflict and character depth can add so much to erotica, but I'm seeing some reviews that suggest masturbation is more the goal. Plot paints a picture and a guy can actually get into that occasionally.

Well, look for some of the submissions bythe folks who post around here-they write damn good erotica you know! ;)

Everything is hard, but if you don't try, then you can never know how easy it might have been.

Damn, that's a good quote! :D

TV writers have degrees in English or some related education and they grunt work their way up in some L.A. studio. Its all about being really good and having a brown nose.

Its tough to get a read if you're not living in the L.A. area since you need to be available for meetings. They also pop changes on you and make you fix it their way really quick.

Paris Hilton and the rest have proven that its all about buying the space and putting on whatever type of drivel you want. My goal now is to find Mr. (or Ms.) Moneybags and try to convince them to produce these two quality TV series premises I've been working on.

It will be hard work rubbing shoulders, but I think I'm up for the challenge. :rose:

Shall do ladies and gents. I'll try to vote and make comments when I can.

Most of us here (with one notable exception) write stories with sex, as opposed to sex with some story thrown around it. ;)

So I'm curious what percentage of Choctaw you are. Not many are very high anymore. Sexy Native stories have great potential. I get off on mating and procreating.

1/4, if we're getting precise. To an indian, though, you either are or you aren't. I am. :)

I am decended from three tribes, but am only 1/16 overall,
and never use the word Indian for Native Americans.

Do you know of any stories here with historic American themes?

I do, and I'm an Indian......and all my friends that are Indians call themselves the same thing. In fact, they sell a ton of shirts at powwows that say "NDN" on them.

We're not too concerned about it, to be honest. If someone wants to get picky, we're not Indians, we're members of the Choctaw Nation, or the First Nations, or whatever.

I have one story you might be interested in, although it's not historical: The Warrior's Song. It takes place in current times, but involves some healing traditions (but don't look for me to give away anything).

You know what? I think I was a little too nice in my former post. I don't mean to be a bitch....well, maybe I do, but who are you to tell me what I can call myself?

Jeez. Don't do that. You won't make friends very quickly that way. Shit.
