NB1: I edited this post to bring myself into compliance with 'Dah RuleZ' of this forum. As has been gracefully, but succinctly, pointed out, I erred somewhat by making a long post in here. I think I resolved the issue by re-submitting my story to LE Admin for approval. I stand corrected and appreciate the insight! Kudos to ALL!

NB2: ... peel vs peal ... I tried, sometimes it's all a dimwit like me can do. But, with the right attitude, it's frequently enough. Of course, like a yacht race, one does have to constantly monitor the wind and make the appropriate mid-course corrections!

I don't think you're allowed to post that much here. And bells generally peal. I suppose they could peel when they get old and decrepit, depending on what they're made of.

Gahd, ruleZ ... ok ok ... (As Joe Pesci was wont to say!) ... How/Where Does A Nascent Neophyte (I love alliteration) Author post a work-in-progress on LE????

I don't know. But not at Lit. I think you're only allowed to post 3 paragraphs. If I'm wrong, somebody will come along and correct me.

There is no provision for posting works-in-progress, other than very short excerpts. Better to submit a story for publication, take your lumps, and learn from the experience. Don't feel bad. We've all gone through the same thing. Just post and see what you get! There are no fines for not excelling your first time out.

First off, welcome to lit.

If you need help with a story, be it beta readers, or a second set of eyes to check for typos or any other kind of editing, check out the Editors forum. Some helpful people there who will guide you.

You can also post a request for someone to look at you WIP to give you help etc...

We were all new at one time and made mistakes. If you have questions ask. Most people here are helpful, and we do have trolls. You'll learn who they are fast enough.
