My personal heros:

Nuno Bettencourt

Brian May

John Petrucci

And Gary Moore.

One day I might play as good as they do. One can dream.

Jimmy Page (saw `em 3 times!)
Jeff Beck
Brian May (check out live at Wembley `86)
Brian Setzer
Steve Howe
Roger McGuinn
Stevie Ray
John Fogerty
Will Ray-------------
John Jorgensen--- THE HELLECASTERS
Jerry Donahue-----
BB King (saw and met. great guy!)
Andy Summers

Amazing how al of these players have been around for years and still they seem to capture our imaginations. Aside from their skill, what is it that they seem to hold over us still?

You know Roy Clarke...the guy from Hee Haw right?

Well, I hate country music and thought Roy was some hick television yokel.

I walk into the local music store and this amazing guitar is playing on the muzak. I ask the guy who it is and he pulls out this cd, "They Call Me Lightning Fingers" -Roy Clarke.

You should hear this guy...I have NEVER heard such intricate and complex yet fascinating playing!!

He will always be known as the cornball from Hee Haw, but to me, I will know him as Lightning Fingers.

Nice - I forgot Jimi and Paul. Awesome! :rose:

You know Paul's good, but not in the league of the others on this thread. Let me add George Harrison.
