My dog, Portia is a vegitarian. She adopted us when she was 4 but forgot to tell us what her favorite kind of dog food was.
I spent two weeks trying every brand from kibbles and bits to purina whatever. Nothing. Everything I put in front of her, she turned her nose up at. She actually pulls back her lips and bares her teeth in disgust.
On fajita night, my son dropped his plate and his lettuce and tomatoes were all over the floor. Before I could get in there to clean it up, Portia was growling and guarding it from the cat as she wolfed it down.
The next day I asked our vet about it. She told me, "oh so she is a vegi lover, well now you know what to do with the vegis the kids won't eat."
Wanna see a dog dance and jump, give her carrots. Her favorite meal is a bowl of salad with tomatoes, radishes and carrots.
My ex fell out of his chair laughing one time when I put a salad bowl that my son hadn't finished on the floor and Portia picked each crouton out with her teeth and put it beside the bowl before she would eat the salad that was left. She doesn't like bread either.

Eagleyez... go easy on the onions... I have read they can be toxic to a dogs liver... but he/she has to eat alot at once...
