My cat is a narcissistic subbie pain-slut.

He:

-- Loves watching himself in the webcam
-- Loves watching himself in the mirror
-- Loves wearing his collar
-- Loves being tied up so that he can't move
-- Loves rough play - play so hard with him that he whimpers and yelps to get loose, let him go, he comes begging back for more
-- Loves being wrapped up in a carpet and flipped down the hallway - he trots back, lays down on the carpet and purrs himself silly waiting for you to do it again.
-- Loves leather and will "claim" any leather object brought into the house.

I love it. I miss my kitty. My friends have trained him well, though!
(He still thinks he's a god, though. What can I say? He's a cat.)

I don't have any cats but my puppy everytime she is laying on the floor and you approach her shy automaticly turns on her back and spreads her legs

will purr while hissing and growling at you
can be petted for a limited amount of time before she tries to bite (though she doesn't bite down)
chases off dogs who come too near my hubby or I if we're all outside
is a snotty water bitch who demands two different bowls of water, not just one
and is loved beyond reason for what she is and who she is.

My cats just rock. They're a perfect balance of affectionate and un-needy. They're always willing to be petted, but also quite content by themselves. They're also great mousers. I live by Johnson Creek. I know that doesn't mean anything to most of you, but what it means to portlanders is I have rat and mice problems. Or I did. When my littlest was about a year they got real bad. I told my landlady, and she suggested I put out poison. I was NOT going to put poison out with a little one toddling around. That's when we got M&M. Her, and her daughter Bandit, keep not only my house rodent free, but every house around us. During the summer they catch about 3 mice/rats a day. (I know - they leave their bodies on my porch.)
