Lately she's taken to drinking out of the bathtub. The faucet leaks, and she drinks it straight from the source. Unfortunately, her head is always wet as a result. Since her fur on her head is mostly white, there are now yellowish water stains on the fur. I wipe off the water whenever I can, but she's almost always wondering around with a wet head.

i've no idea where my cat drinks ... i've never seen her drink since we've had her at first we were worried about it but shes still alive now :)

i guess she finds water outside or something or maybe she drinks out of the bath (i've caught her in the bath but never actually seen her drinking)

um what im trying to say is cats always seem to find water somewhere

you need to buy her one of those oxygenating, continual flow water bowls. B/c she's drinking flowing water, its a big sign that she doesn't like the taste of the water or possibly the temperature.

I have to filter the water I give my cat, Diablo. I'm just grateful she doesn't require the bottled type.

We share our home with a few kitties. One of them, Jenny, is a gorgeous calico tabby - beautiful, and she knows it - and every morning she waits for me to put fresh water and then ICE in the bowl for her. We are so trained (hanging head in shame).

My cats, Lucy and Noah do the same thing. They get in the bathtub and drink from the faucet. That doesn't bother me as much as Lucy's bad habit of eating through the plastic to get to bread sitting on the table. I hate cold bread but, the fridge is the only place to store it.

Hehehe.... don't you just love kitties?

Our kitties are wonderfully intelligent, loving yet independent - perfect animals. They are even quite patient with our young children. So - we're trained! I gave it up a long time ago! LOL!
But there's nothing like snuggling with a warm kitty (except perhaps snuggling with your man!)

One of my cats had kittens in June. Now I share the bed with my husband, at least 4 of the 7 cats and the 6 year old daughter nicknamed "Legs" (It's like sleeping with an octopus). Something's got to give. Anyone want a husband or child? :D

Does your daughter make the middle bar of the "H" in bed? Geez, we'd be able to sleep if the kids didn't decide to play alphabet in bed!! And a couple of kitties stretch out at the bottom of the bed, one tries to sleep on my face. Big sigh. It's a wonder we ever have privacy to have sex!!!

She makes a perfect X in bed. Both hands in opposite corners and the same with both feet. Then the cats get up there and bother her and she starts squirming ... the cats start to meow because she makes these really loud noises when you disturb HER sleep. Then, the cats meowing and her squealing causes my husband to wake up and start yelling and whoever is available. He then stomps out to the living room and turns the tv on.

I'm thinking about resigning all rights to my bed and sleeping in her room, at least that door has a lock. No cats, no kid, no husband. That'd be my perfect one night getaway.
