3000 words in. Young grace is about to go into the supply closet with Old Man Brown, probably the same closet she was conceived in 18+ years before.

I now wonder whether there are security cameras in the hallway, and if so, who takes advantage. Thus far |I have three subsidiary characters hanging about - Justin, the young creepy dude who drools lust around Grace; a nurse known only by her nickname Brunhilda; and a volunteer coordinator nicknamed Matilda. Would seem redundant to add a security guard rather than use one of them.

but the real question is whether I go down that road at all. This started out as a nice "two hander" for the Mature section. Something to complete early in 2022 to start my submission count going for the year.

The security guard boast about and demonstrate the recording in front of Justin (and/or Brunhilda and/or Matilda, in separate occasions or collectively), before explaining the recording will expire in 30 days unless copied on external media, what he's not intending (or even dosen't have access permissions) to do. He doesn't do anything else about it either, so it's up to the interested character to decide how to proceed with that information.

Will no longer be my first story of 2021- not completed before the C Day entry went up. but still in progress. Nearing climax, you might say.

Not inclined right now to go beyond the one sex scene, but wondering if one of the three other characters catching them exiting the closet, setting up a possible sequel.

Or maybe another resident?

My Alan in the Office series starts with a bit of supply-closet fucking (2- and 3-somes) in a tiny-cubicle-office-building software shop. I had not thought to include security cameras surveilling the closet doorways, as that wasn't a public-access area and I suppose cams aimed at elevators wouldn't also cover the office space.

In the site this was modeled on, security goons rarely left the building entrances and supply docks. Fired staff weren't even perp-walked out... except by a sheriff. Don't obviously snort coke there, kids.

But if cams do spy on your hospital hallways, a security goon would surely be involved. Make her or him so flaky that no police departments would hire them, so they're a rent-a-cop at an unpleasant hospital. Yes, supply closets there are surveilled for loss prevention i.e. to reduce thefts by underpaid staff.

Fun comes when would-be fucksters open a closet door to find it already occupied, hopefully by living people and no pets. True story: I walked my doberman into the mainframe room one night and nobody noticed till we were leaving. Security staff there weren't the brightest bulbs, hey? Well, she was better behaved than some of the systems programmers.

right now my ending is just hanging there.
with a passel of extraneous characters hanging about already, don't think I need to add security guard.
Bigger question is if I need that at all, except as a possible hook for a sequel.

Set in the days of print newspaper want-ads, the hospital wants to hire "candy stripers," but the copy boy writes "candy strippers" by mistake. An aging, but bodacious exotic dancer answers the advert, and her comfortable overt sexuality intimidates the young guy in the hospital's HR department.

He just graduated from college and is hot for the dancer, so he "looks the other way" as she teaches the young, but over 18, women a thing or two. Suddenly Mercy Hospital is the in-place to recieve care. And everyone is pleased with the "candy strippers. Well, they are so long as they are kept out out of the cardiac unit.
