She went thru the same thing every year... Made the flight home, was forced to spend the entire weekend surrounded by family that was nothing like her. She had left home after graduation and hadn't gone the route of the rest of the females in her family by getting married and having two or three kids.. She had gone to college and now lived in the city. Her family always peppered her with questions, asking why she hadn't settled down yet, how was she supposed to tell them that she wasn't even able to decide if she liked boys or girls?! She adjusted the straps to her sundress and ran her fingers thru her long brown hair as she walked up the steps to her family home... She was however looking forward to seeing her brother.. And apparently he had even brought his girlfriend... She knocked on the door even tho she knew it wasn't required.
