Thank you all for your kind concern. The docs say that my bro will okay in about 9 months. He had a "dead" tumor behind his pituitary gland that impacted the nerves in that area serving the movement of his right eye. Hormones and time will serve to regenerate the nerves, deal with the hormone imbalance and absorb the tumor. (Don't ask me to explain it any further).

Life goes on. And I am just a little more cognizant of my mortality and appreciative of the depth of our relationship.

I wish him the very best. He has a hard road. My mother had a stroke recently that affected her vision and although she's almost back to normal after 4 months, she still has trouble with headaches and vision. I know how mentally tasking this is and hope that he has the courage and strength to overcome all the residual effects.
