My AMELIA

I just want all to know, here and forever, that I named my kitten "Amelia." I named her Amelia because she came to me from Texas, she is blonde (well- not quite, really kinda red when ya think of it), and I think she is a fine kitten.

ameliaishornee is of the hook. She's a good girl. I wish I could love her- but I am on a romance sabbatical. Not to mention the fact- I don't think she likes me much.

My AMELIA on the other hand.... this one that is sitting in my lap....

She PROUDLY bears the name "Amelia." It is her own name. If you saw her, you would say Amelia too.

Sometimes I call her 'Melia and Amie. But at feeding time and when I want some affection (which she gives me readily) I call her "Amelia."

It's a damned fine name for a cat from Waskom, Texas. And yall know how I am about Texas (very touchy). I just love this kitten.

I have friends who have a cat named Amelia.........named after Amelia Earhart because she took a header off of the balcony when she was a kitten. She survived, of course.
