One story that you might like better gets lower ratings than another.
It could be from different people reading it at different times.
I believe strongly that the timing of when it gets posted to the "New Stories" list has a lot to do with the voting you get.

The first story was good also. Both cry out for sequels or prequels, as some have suggested. Oh, and I agree with those two readers comments about the commas, and I love 'em too. Keep 'em comming!
