A parish priest has been killed after having his throat cut by two knife-wielding hostage-takers who stormed a French church in a suspected terror attack.
The two attackers entered the Church of the Gambetta at around 9.45am local time (8.45am UK time) during morning prayers.
They took the priest, two nuns and two worshippers hostage and local media reports suggest the knifemen shouted a message in support of Islamic State as they launched the attack.
A third nun is said to have escaped the siege, in Rouen, Normandy, and raised the alarm.

Just a point, when the attack happened at 9:45 a.m. on a weekday morning, the people in the church of St. Etienne de Rouvray are going to be the daily churchgoers, the more religious for a weekday mass and usually the more elderly. Who thinks you’re going to be attacked in your quiet little village church in Normandy, France?

ISIS WANT Europe to turn against refugees many of whom are fleeing ISIS or the local equivalent. ISIS WANT to start a religious war of Christians against ALL Muslims - just as you do.
Yes, ISIS and its followers claim to be Muslims following Muslim doctrine but the majority of Muslims, particularly those who are not Sunni who lost out when Saddam Hussein fell, hate ISIS and its terror campaign. Even senior Muslims like the Islamic leader of Egypt's Muslims condemn ISIS.
But you don't listen. You don't want to hear the truth. You claim that it is oggism. Oggism doesn't exist except in your bigotted genocidial ranting. We need to understand and fight the propaganda war against ISIS. Your posts support them.
