I was journaling a little while ago and this is what came out. Add your own musings about writing.

When I write, I want to use humor and beauty. I want to write funny things but also concrete images that bring pictures, feelings, emotions and even scents to mind. The dialogue of movies connects with the viewer mentally but the music score speaks directly to the emotion. Like a painting, the lines speak to the intellect while the color speaks directly to the viewers emotions. I want to write things that play music in the reader's mind.

When I write, what I hope is this: People reading it will get wet or hard and start frigging or wanking themselves. I've had people send me feedback saying they do this, timing it so they cum when the characters in the story do.

Or a couple will act out the story. I have gotten feedback from people telling me they like to do just that, by the way.

I have one story, "Betty's Busy Fingers" that describes a woman reading and masturbating. The story is fiction but that is the response I would like to have readers get from my stories.

I write because I can't avoid it, can't stop it, feel like crap if I skip for a day or two.

Like the two posters before me , if I have the happy luck to get someone to read my arrangements of words, I hope they forget to think.

I hope, for those moments, that they'll join my world and not notice they've left their own.

And sometimes I hope the writing is erotic -- I mean I hope the world they join makes them experience passion again.

And yeah, I hope they like being there so much that they'll look for excuses and tickets that let them come again.

But I'm also happy getting drunk and eating wings, walking and running, experiencing BDSM and sex, dropping by Cold Stone Creamery and Walker's Coffee and Spirits. I write because I have to.

There's nothing else in this world that I'd rather do than write. I feel as if I was born for it.

I've always thought writing was something I wanted to do, but didn't believe I could, I just didn't have what it takes. I may not have it LOL but I feel that my writing has improved alot this past year and I write everyday now. It all started in January Wifey put "us" on a diet ( she wanted to diet...I just went along for support) and I lost 25 lbs. which I didn't think I could. I built a porch on the house, it turned out better than I expected and my garden was fabulous. So it's been a good year, I got a little taste of confidence and I hope I can apply it to not only my writing, but everything, everyday.
