Music

hello nia36, i don't know if my choices are the best places but here are my offerings:

itunes - you have to download their software and pay 1 dollar per selection, but for the price of a new cd, you can compile a list of personal favorites to have on your computer.

amazon.com - because you can't really find quality cd's in the stores anymore since places like cdwherehouse and blockbuster music no longer exist. best buy/walmart/ and target are okay but i'm a big jazz fan and the jazz selections in the stores are quite disappointing.

playlist.com - it's an online community where you can share/create music lists. it's free and there is nothing to download. you may not always find the song you want but there is plenty of music for you to enjoy.

youtube - you can create playlists of your favorites if you've signed up with the site.

i hope this was helpful,

be golden.

last.fm - it's a musical community type thing, so you download the plug-in and it makes a list of the music that you've listened to on your computer and ipod. it then takes that and recommends new music to you. you can't buy music directly off the site, but it's a good place for discovering new things. they also have a radio service which is really awesome that you can subscribe to for 3 bucks a month.
