Music NOT to fawk or scene to....

klezmer -- good to drink, debate, or work to, not what I'd call nooky tunes.

I think I could beat someone to the close cousin though, the balkan brass band.

Incident One: While at a play party, I was double-flogging (Florentine) my then-wife/sub while two nearby Doms were (respectively) working a paddle and a single-tail. Our second-floor dungeon had speakers attached to the sound system downstairs. In the middle of our sessions, the music changed from Pink Floyd (great session music!) to the theme from the movie "Mission: Impossible." Within seconds, all three of us were right on the beat with the music (if you hear it in your head, you'll know why), then shortly afterward each looked at the others, smiled and kept on with what we were doing - still in time to the music.

Incident Two: A Domme friend, new to floggers, was being instructed by a more experienced Dom in flogging in a figure-eight pattern. "Develop a rhythm first, then step forward and let the flogger make contact with her ass," he said (a masochist friend had volunteered to be the "target"). She started the flogger in the figure-eight pattern and was getting ready to step forward when the background music changed to "Splish, Splash, I Was Takin' a Bath." Her pattern was almost on the beat with the song's beat, and without realizing it, she altered the pattern, and began kind of "bouncing" on her feet in rhythm... Everyone cracked up, of course. She's been the "Dancing Domme" ever since.

That one song that goes:

Joy to the World
To all the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
And Joy to you and me.

Seems to me that'd be an aweful song to scene to.

Oooooh, how true...

I can't imagine playing to any Disney songs either.

How can you be serious with a crab singing in the background?

LMAO.

:p

Barney.

No Barney music!

:D

The Hokey Pokey

Brave Combo does a sort of psychedelic polka version of this btw

Theme songs from...The Adams Family..The Brady Bunch ...The partiridges...etc etc etc

I would think "Christmas at Ground Zero" would be bad to scene too.
Add that to most Weird Al things for "fawking" to. Though apparently laughter produces some rather nice squeezing.
;)

I don't think I could scene to Boy George songs.

The music isn't bad, but the images of him in locks, garage sale left over clothing and more make up than I wear would be a mood killer for me.

;)

Maybe not for some others, though.........

You shouldn't? Are you sure? Oh, man! *sighs* There's one fantasy out the window. :p

OK, I'm showing my age, but that's Joy to the World by 3 Dog Night. They were quite popular in the...um...70s.

Actually, that wan't one of my favorites. Their earlier tunes were much better.

Anything sung by Buck Owens or featured on the Hee Haw show. Sorry, if you like pickin' and grinnin' music.

Personally, I'm more of a pokin' and strokin' kind of guy.

Puff the Magic Dragon, lived by the sea

Or something like that. I haven't heard the song in a loooooooooooong time.

whoever said enigma, thank you. I am also even tired of Massive Attack, I never thought it'd happen, but anything can become a cliche when you're subjected to it 9000000 times. Arg.

All that new garage revival shit could be fun scene music, Hives, Jet, Interpol, Strokes -- I think beating up men is all it's good for.

The Animaniacs songs.

"United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Hati, Jamaca, Peru...."

Unless you were making them sing it during a spanking. That'd be kinda cool.

Stupid question time ...

Did 3 Dog Night do a song called Chickaboom? i think i tried Google one time, and drew a blank.

i'm drawing on a vague childhood memory buried in muck here, but i think the chorus went:

"Chickaboom, chickaboom. Don'tcha just love it.

Chickaboom, chickaboom. Don'tcha just love it.

Chickaboom, chickaboom. Don'tcha just love it.

Chickaboom boom boom boom boom boom."
